BEER VENDORS
The Elmore County Fair and Rodeo Board invite interested vendors to join us at the Elmore County Fair to set up a BeerGarden! We are opening up bidding to vendors in Elmore and surrounding counties to supply alcohol at Elmore County Fair and Rodeo for July 18th, 20th and 21st 2012. Dates may fluctuate depending on events such as Junior Rodeo but will be between the 18th and 21st of July.
We are asking vendors to please provide us with some information. We would like to know:
1. What will be served? By rules and regulations established by the Elmore County Fair Board, drinks cannot be in glass bottles. Also, in order to combat other sources of alcohol and underage drinking, we are asking that drinks be served in plastic cups or plastic bottles available only to vendors, therefore, those found with glass bottles will be dealt with appropriately.
2. The vendor must check ID of anyone who appears to be under the age of 25. Armbands must be used to indicate those eligible to drink. Vendor must be willing to place those on all eligible patrons.
3. A hospitality license is required to be filed at the Elmore County Courthouse in Mountain Home and with the City of Glenns Ferry. This is to be supplied by vendor and proof must be submitted to Fair Manager prior to selling goods.
4. You will the only vendor selling alcoholic beverages. You will be provided a space with electricity and availability to water (ice can be purchased through the Moose Lodge (on site at fairgrounds) at a reduced rate). You will also have a satellite booth down at the Rodeo Arena during Rodeo events on Friday and Saturday. You will not have to pay a booth rental fee, however the Fair Board would like to work out a percentage of gross intake. Please indicate percentage in your packet submission.
5. Form of monetary exchange MAY be subject to rules and regulations set up by the Fair board to ensure proper payment is made. (i.e. a Fair Board representative to take money for the vendor or a token system where tokens are sold through a member of the Fair Board and turned in for alcoholic beverages.) This is a regulation under discussion at the present time and will be discussed with the vendor chosen from applications submitted.
We look forward to hearing from you. Please submit informational packet to, Fair Manager by May 16, 2011. Packets can be sent to:
